The Department for Energy Security and Net Zero sought views on the revised energy National Policy Statements that support decisions on major energy infrastructure.
As a result draft updates have been made to multiple energy National Policy Statements, through which the process for delivering major new infrastructure in England and Wales has been strengthened, reinforcing government’s ambition to deliver Clean Power by 2030 and net zero.
