The Government response to the Nuclear Regulatory Taskforce has been published, setting out an all-embracing programme of reform, committed to implementing the recommendations set out by the Taskforce as quickly and efficiently as possible. The response clearly reflects the Government’s commitment to ensuring that nuclear can contribute to the UK’s energy and national security, drive economic growth and also protect nature.
